Gracenter Gala Luncheon, Free to Fly

This year our event is celebrating

the brave women at Gracenter

who are breaking free of addiction

and are now free to fly to a future

filled with possibilities!

We are also pleased to honor Martha Ryan, Founder and Executive Director of the Homeless Prenatal Program with our Amazing Grace Award for her outstanding service to women in need in our community by providing a continuum of care for homeless and poor families through comprehensive support services,an on-site childcare center and will expand to provide more alternative health services, as well as financial literacy, and further family supports.

Our outstanding graduate this year is Pali Boucher, who graduated from Gracenter in 1995. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Rocket Dog Rescue, a San Francisco Bay Area dog rescue organization run by a group of dedicated volunteers. They save dogs from death at over-crowded shelters and find them loving, happy homes. Now in their fifteenth year, RDR is stronger than ever, and has saved the lives of over 8,100 animals.

We too, are creating new opportunities to have fun in this celebration. Our music will be provided by our DJ, Jamie Larsen from Jazcat Mobile Entertainment, whose repertoire covers every era from the 50's to the present! Join your friends in preserving memories with the aid of tons of props in our photo booth! And, in addition to our silent auction and our raffle, we have some exciting items in our new live auction!

If you wish, join in the fun of helping us promote our theme of "Free to Fly" by wearing an accessory that relates to anything that flies! Some ideas may be a lapel pin, a tie, a blouse or hat with butterflies, birds, planes, clouds, balloons, angels, flags, whatever! We can't wait to see your creativity!
